Getting Involved

From the moment you come through our front doors (physical or virtual), we hope that you feel at home here at St. Andrew’s. Our sign out front says that “All Are Welcome” and we strive to live up to that greeting. There are no gates or hurdles to becoming a part of our parish family. Everyone belongs.

Some newcomers want to jump right in with both feet, and others want to take their time and remain anonymous for a while. Either way, please review our Visitors Guide to give you a sense of the various ministries that comprise our common life. When you are ready to get involved, you may contact the ministry representative listed or one of the clergy or staff. There are many ways to share in our mission and ministry, and every person brings new gifts and ideas.

If you are interested in formal membership, please let us know by contacting the Parish Office at 622-5530. If you are coming from another Episcopal church, we will be happy to assist you with the simple transfer process. If you are joining St. Andrew’s from another denomination, you may additionally wish to be received or confirmed in the Episcopal Church during a special service with the bishop. The clergy will be happy to talk with you about these options.

In January and February each year, we offer Newcomer Classes as part of our Adult Forum series (9:00 – 10:00 a.m. in the Auditorium). By request, we also offer informal classes at other times in the year, typically in preparation for a special service of confirmation or reception.
