Summer of Connection

During the summer of 2017, while our rector, John Rohrs, and associate rector, Andie Rohrs, were away on sabbatical, St. Andrew’s parishioners embarked upon a Summer of Connection, in which we explored ways to unplug and practice Sabbath in our own lives and families by participating in coordinated fellowship groups and parish-wide events designed to build new relationships. Activities included a Norfolk Tides game, a French luncheon on Bastille Day, visits to the Norfolk Zoo, the Chrysler Museum and Glass Studio, Colonial Williamsburg, and much more.
