Adult Formation

As described in our parish's Core Values, we are people with inquiring minds and open hearts. We know that spiritual growth happens over a lifetime and is a never-ending journey with as many questions as answers. We also know that God's love and grace guides us every step of the way. Here are our principal offerings of adult formation:

ADULT FORUM

This is our flagship formation offering for adults. Sunday mornings we gather at 9:15 a.m. in the Auditorium for discussions and presentations on a variety of topics related to the practice of faith. Once a month, we gather in White Hall over breafkast for a Rector's Forum, which features a presentation or discussion engaging the broader congregation. 

MEN'S FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST

This group gathers in White Hall on the first Wednesday some months from 7:30-8:30 a.m. for a light breakfast and a speaker.  Other months, they meet for fellowship in the late afternoon at a local brewery.  

NEWCOMER'S CLASS

This class is open to everyone but is geared toward newcomers who would like to learn more about the Episcopal Church and about St. Andrew's. It is a five-week series offered in the winter/spring.

TWO OR THREE FELLOWSHIP

Two or Three (formerly known as Wine and the Word) is a fellowship  group for young women in the church. 

WOMEN OF ST. ANDREW'S

This is a fellowship and service ministry for all women of the parish. The Women make grants toward church and community needs and sponsor various special events. Contact Lois Gail Davis at 489-8603.

WOMEN OF THE WAY

Women of the Way is spirituality book group that meets in parishioners’ homes for fellowship and conversation around a selected book.  

YOUNG ADULT FELLOWSHIP

The Young Adult Fellowship strives to engage people who are roughly in their 20s, 30s and early 40s. Fellowship gatherings such as our back-to-school potluck and Christmas party are held throughout the year. 

OTHER FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

We gather for fun and fellowship year round. Events include Coffee Hour and Receptions, Foyer Dinners, Sunday Breakfasts, Lenten Dinners, and a Parish Picnic. Contact  the parish office at 622-5530.
